Lemonol, geraniol


Ingredient description:

It is a terpenic alcohol with a light yellow colour. It is used in fragrance compositions. It is found in many natural essential oils, e.g. rose and lemongrass. It is characterised by a fragrance similar to geranium.

 

Cosmetic action:

Gives a fresh, floral aroma to cosmetics. Has an antibacterial effect and repels insects (e.g. mosquitoes).
