Cetearyl Glucoside

Cetearyl Glucoside

Common name:

Cetylstearyl alcohol polyglucoside

Ingredient description:

An ingredient of natural origin, extracted from coconut oil and corn oil. It enables water to combine with oil and is therefore essential for the formation of emulsions. In foam cosmetics, it is responsible for stabilising the foam. Facilitates rinsing of the product. Prevents delamination of the cosmetic. It is non-allergenic and so safe that there are no regulations associated with its use. Protects skin from the irritating properties of external agents (e.g. colour cosmetics).

Cosmetic action:

It has cleansing and protective properties and is therefore ideal for both cleansing and skin care cosmetics. It promotes skin regeneration and soothes irritation caused, for example, by clothing or abrasions.
