Extracted from the fruit of milk thistle - an annual asteraceous plant that used to grow exclusively in the wild, but is now cultivated under field conditions. Contains flavonolignans (flavonoid derivatives), including silymarin, which has anti-inflammatory, detoxifying, antioxidant and decongestant properties, cleanses the body of toxins and inhibits the division of cancer cells. It protects the skin's lipid mantle, preventing dryness and water loss. Can be used by people prone to allergies and hypersensitivity, including those with AD.
