Myristyl Myristate

Myristyl Myristate

Common name:

Myristyl Myristate

Ingredient description:

Myristyl myristate is extracted from plants - muskmelon, palm or coconut oil, among others. It occurs in the form of a soft wax that dissolves when exposed to body temperature. It influences the consistency and stability of cosmetics, facilitates application and gives them a white colour.

Cosmetic action:

It is an emollient with occlusive properties (it forms a protective layer on the surface of the skin to prevent water loss from the epidermis). It influences the consistency of the product, making it easier to apply. It moisturises, softens and smooths the skin with tattoos and reduces peeling.
