Hydrogenated Vegetable Oil

Hydrogenated Vegetable Oil

Common name:

Hydrogenated vegetable oil

Ingredient description:

Hydrogenated vegetable oil is formed by breaking the double bonds and attaching hydrogen molecules to them. This makes the oil denser and harder. In cosmetics, it acts as an emulsifier and thus links the oil phase to the water phase. Oil with added hydrogen molecules is more resistant to oxidation - it remains more stable.

Cosmetic action:

On the skin, it has an occlusive effect - it forms a layer on the surface of the skin that prevents excessive water loss. Thus, it indirectly influences its hydration. In addition, it smoothens, softens and improves the condition of tattooed skin.
